How much does the class cost?

The Basic Clicker Course is $175 if cash or check, $185 if debit, PayPal or credit. You may bring a cash or a check with you to the first class. If it is you wish to pay with debit, credit or paypal, please let us know and we will invoice you so you can pay by the start of class.

Why does the ticket price above indicate that it’s free?

We’re leveraging many of the cool features of Eventbrite. But, not their fee collection one. Why? ‘Cause they charge for that. And, we’re trying to keep your costs down by keeping our costs down.

How often & when will we meet?

We will meet Thursdays from December 5th, 2019 through January 30th, 2020 from 6:00 – 7:30  pm at the Pet Supplies Plus in the Kroger Complex off Alps Road & Baxter Street. There will be no classes held on December 26th, 2019 or January 2nd, 2020.

NOTE: No dogs week 1.

Things to Bring:

  • Your dog’s shot records.
  • The signed liability form (we will provide them at class).
  • The registration form (unless you filled it out online)
  • A sense of humor 🙂

Build your dog’s confidence and self-control in this class.

This class will explore the basics of training a family dog positively and effectively. Sit, Stand, Down, Coming When Called, Polite Leash Walking, Stay, Canine Communication & Body Language and much, much more is covered.

COVID-19 Group Class & Private Lesson Update: Staff will be wearing masks. We will work to maintain social distancing and limit in the extreme interactions between people, teaching from a distance and modeling techniques. Class participants are not mandated to wear masks by may if it is their preference. We may limit class to one person per puppy/dog so that social space is easier to maintain. This will be handled on an as needed basis. We will do all we can to meet you where you are. Watch for future updates.

Until group classes open up again locally, and for those who are concerned about COVID-19 Risk, please consider joining the 90 Days to the Perfect Puppy program. This is a comprehensive puppy raising program that includes on demand video lessons, membership in a Facebook subscribers group with lots of interaction, a 90 day training plan, lots of support documents like activity sheets and tips. The basic program is $129 and you can choose to upgrade to group online coaching for 12 WEEKS for an additional $97 at any time. Of course, we are happy to help you privately as well either in person (with appropriate precautions) or via zoom.us. Regular private lesson rates apply.

Handlers learn how to manage their puppy’s arousal and the end of each class is an open question time where staff sits down with each and every owner to see how progress is proceeding with each family and their puppy.

You can start as soon as your pup is 10 weeks old and has 4 rounds of vaccine. There is no beginning or end to this class… you take the individuals lessons in whatever order they happen on the calendar. Teams join each week… so some take the class following week 1,2,3,4 other do 2,3,4,1… we stay flexible so you don’t have to 🙂

We meet on Sundays from 1:00—2:00 pm at the Pet Supplies Plus in the Kroger Complex off Alps Road & Baxter Street. (EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE FOR HOLIDAY WEEKENDS. There will be no classes on 03/15/20, 3/22/20, 3/29/20, 04/05/20, 04/12/20, 05/10/20, 05/24/20, 06/21/20, 07/05/20, 09/06/20, 11/29/20, 12/27/20. All dates are subject to change. ) Inclement weather policy: If churches close then we will not have class that week. 

This year the schedule is a little odd so we wanted to publish which lessons will be held when so if you miss a lesson, you will be able to figure out when that lesson will be offered again. Sometimes, during 5 Sunday months, you will see the same lesson presented twice in one month… this happens when there’s a Sunday off during the following month and we don’t want you to go two whole months between that lesson.:

COVID-19 Group Class & Private Lesson Update: Staff will be wearing masks. We will work to maintain social distancing and limit in the extreme interactions between people, teaching from a distance and modeling techniques. Class participants are not mandated to wear masks by may if it is their preference. We may limit class to one person per puppy/dog so that social space is easier to maintain. This will be handled on an as needed basis. We will do all we can to meet you where you are. Watch for future updates.

Until group classes open up again locally, and for those who are concerned about COVID-19 Risk, please consider joining the 90 Days to the Perfect Puppy program. This is a comprehensive puppy raising program that includes on demand video lessons, membership in a Facebook subscribers group with lots of interaction, a 90 day training plan, lots of support documents like activity sheets and tips. The basic program is $129 and you can choose to upgrade to group online coaching for 12 WEEKS for an additional $97 at any time. Of course, we are happy to help you privately as well either in person (with appropriate precautions) or via zoom.us. Regular private lesson rates apply.

We are proud to be teaching the best puppy class in the area… The class is fun and entertaining and we are able to incorporate whatever we need to customize for each and every group. Handlers learn how to manage their puppy’s arousal and the end of each class is an open question time where staff sits down with each and every owner to see how progress is proceeding with each family and their puppy.

You can start as soon as your pup is 10 weeks old and has 4 rounds of vaccine. There is no beginning or end to this class… you take the individuals lessons in whatever order they happen on the calendar. Teams join each week… so some take the class following week 1,2,3,4 other do 2,3,4,1… we stay flexible so you don’t have to 🙂

We meet on Sundays from 1:00—2:00 pm at the Pet Supplies Plus in the Kroger Complex off Alps Road & Baxter Street. (EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE FOR HOLIDAY WEEKENDS. There will be no classes on 03/15/20, 3/22/20, 3/29/20, 04/05/20, 04/12/20, 05/10/20, 05/24/20, 06/21/20, 07/05/20, 09/06/20, 11/29/20, 12/27/20. This year the schedule is a little odd so we wanted to publish which lessons will be held when so if you miss a lesson, you will be able to figure out when that lesson will be offered again. Sometimes, during 5 Sunday months, you will see the same lesson presented twice in one month… this happens when there’s a Sunday off during the following month and we don’t want you to go two whole months between that lesson.:

Puppy Class 2020 – Athens, GA @ Pet Supplies Plus

COVID-19 Group Class & Private Lesson Update: Staff will be wearing masks. We will work to maintain social distancing and limit in the extreme interactions between people, teaching from a distance and modeling techniques. Class participants are not mandated to wear masks by may if it is their preference. We may limit class to one person per puppy/dog so that social space is easier to maintain. This will be handled on an as needed basis. We will do all we can to meet you where you are. Watch for future updates.

Until group classes open up again locally, and for those who are concerned about COVID-19 Risk, please consider joining the 90 Days to the Perfect Puppy program. This is a comprehensive puppy raising program that includes on demand video lessons, membership in a Facebook subscribers group with lots of interaction, a 90 day training plan, lots of support documents like activity sheets and tips. The basic program is $129 and you can choose to upgrade to group online coaching for 12 WEEKS for an additional $97 at any time. Of course, we are happy to help you privately as well either in person (with appropriate precautions) or via zoom.us. Regular private lesson rates apply.

 

How much does the class cost?The cost of this class is $100.00 for cash or check. If you prefer to pay with debit, credit or PayPal, the price is $110, please let us know ahead of time so we can invoice you and you can pay prior to class.

We are proud to be teaching the best puppy class in the area… The class is fun and entertaining and we are able to incorporate whatever we need to customize for each and every group. Handlers learn how to manage their puppy’s arousal and the end of each class is an open question time where staff sits down with each and every owner to see how progress is proceeding with each family and their puppy.

How often & when will we meet?

You can start as soon as your pup is 10 weeks old and has 4 rounds of vaccine. There is no beginning or end to this class… you take the individuals lessons in whatever order they happen on the calendar. Teams join each week… so some take the class following week 1,2,3,4 other do 2,3,4,1… we stay flexible so you don’t have to 🙂

We meet on Sundays from 1:00—2:00 pm at the Pet Supplies Plus in the Kroger Complex off Alps Road & Baxter Street. (EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE FOR HOLIDAY WEEKENDS. There will be no classes on 03/15/20, 3/22/20, 3/29/20, 04/05/20, 04/12/20, 05/10/20, 05/24/20, 06/21/20, 07/05/20, 09/06/20, 11/29/20, 12/27/20. All dates are subject to change. ) Inclement weather policy: If churches close then we will not have class that week. 

This year the schedule is a little odd so we wanted to publish which lessons will be held when so if you miss a lesson, you will be able to figure out when that lesson will be offered again. Sometimes, during 5 Sunday months, you will see the same lesson presented twice in one month… this happens when there’s a Sunday off during the following month and we don’t want you to go two whole months between that lesson.:
